Zach has served as Dwight Baptist Church's Lead Pastor since January 2023, where he has been leading a revitalization of one of Gadsden's oldest congregations, established in 1897. He loves the hard work of expository preaching and is committed to keeping Dwight Baptist anchored in the Word of God, the historic Christian faith, and the covenant promises that belong to the people of God. Zach earned a master's degree with a concentration in church history, and his preaching reflects a deep love for the story of the church and the theology that has sustained her through the centuries.

Zach and his wife, Kara, married in 2008 and together are raising eight children. They are committed to a multigenerational vision of faithfulness, homeschooling their children through a classical education approach and cultivating a home marked by family worship, catechism, and a love for the Lord across every generation.

Before coming to Dwight Baptist, Zach served in pastoral ministry in Southern California, bringing with him a decade and half of ministry experience. He came to his strong convictions through years of careful study of Scripture and the great theologians of the church, and he preaches with the conviction that the old paths are still the good paths.

Away from the pulpit, Zach enjoys life with his family, the outdoors, and the slow, rewarding work of building something meant to last.

Let me know if you want to adjust the tone, trim it down, or add anything specific.

Tim Martin

Chairman of the Deacons

Tim Martin has been a faithful member of Dwight Baptist Church for over two decades, serving as a deacon for more than ten years. He meets the biblical qualifications of the office and has demonstrated them not just on paper but in practice, remaining a steady and servant-hearted presence through some of the church's most difficult seasons. When many would have walked away, Tim stayed, and Dwight Baptist is stronger for it.

Tim now serves as Chairman of the Deacons, and his years of faithful endurance have positioned him well for that role. He is not a man who discovered commitment when things got easy. He is a man who was already there.

Adam Walden

Worship Minister/Deacon

Adam Walden has served Dwight Baptist Church as Worship Minister for nearly three years, leading the congregation in corporate worship with a commitment to truth-filled, God-centered song. He also leads children's catechism on Wednesday evenings, investing in the next generation with the same theological seriousness he brings to everything else.

Adam recently answered the call to serve as a deacon, a role that fits naturally for a man whose heart has always been oriented toward the church and her needs. He brings a genuine passion for theology and a willingness to serve wherever the church requires it, making him exactly the kind of man a congregation in revitalization needs in its corner.

Christian Crocker is the kind of man every pastor is grateful for. He helps teach Sunday School, joins in leading Wednesday evening Bible study, and consistently shows up wherever the church has a need. He does not wait to be asked twice. Christian recently answered the call to serve as a deacon, a recognition that simply put a title to what he was already doing.

He is a workhorse in the best sense of the word, and Dwight Baptist is better for having him.
